We hope that some of these links and the information contained in these pages will help you support your child in their learning and development.

Phonics and Reading

We use Little Wandle Letters and Sounds (revised) for phonics.

Our Reception and Key Stage One reading scheme is Collins Little Wandle Big Cat.

Please refer to the class pages where you will find information about the staff who support the children in each class and the latest topic learning. Teachers also send out newsletters so as you can understand what they have been learning at school that week. These are sent out via our communication system direct to parents.

Breaktime Snacks

We like to make sure that our children are fed well and their brains are not hungry!  

We offer breaktime snack of toast. This costs 30p per day.

If your child wishes to buy a breaktime snack, please could their bring their money daily in a named purse or envelope, in exact change please.  They may buy one food item, remembering that they have 15 minutes to buy and eat their snacks during their playtime.

 

All EYFS and KS 1 children receive a free piece of fruit from the Government fruit scheme.
