At The Mosley Academy we aim to offer a wide range of clubs and activities for the children to enjoy after school until 4.30pm, and some clubs are run at lunchtime.  We have a Breakfast Club that runs every morning from 8 am until the start of the school day and we have just launched out new after school clubs until 6pm Monday until Friday.

 See below for more details and for booking instructions. All clubs must be booked and paid for in advance.

Throughout the year  we also offer a selection of the following clubs after school or at lunchtime:

• Music lessons, Choir, Football, Film club, Construction, Art, Scooter club, trampoline,
• Netball, Soccerstars, Piano, Mindfulness, Running club, Lego, Ipad club, Blooket club

Please see the Clubs newsletter for details and use MCAS to register your child to take part in our clubs.  You can sign up for Soccerstars on the Soccerstars website, and a registration form is available on this page and from the school entrance foyer.

We have taken part in a wide range of sports competitions recently, including:-

• Dove Valley: Netball tournament; Friendly football; Dove Valley Tag Rugby; Dove Valley Football league; Girls football, Rounders, Kwik Kricket and much more!! 
• ESSP : Dodgeball, Indoor canoeing Year 3/4 and 5/6, Boccia Years 3-6, Indoor Athletics Year 3/4 and 5/6
• John Taylor High School sports offer : athletics, dodgeball, multi ckills, bhangra dancing, netball, football

We have been awarded the School Games GOLD and SILVER awards - and we hope to be able to renew this again soon as we continue to build on the sport and games offer that we provide to all children. Our most recent award is the Gold!

Wrap-Around Provision

Early Birds

Night Owls

 

Our wrap around childcare services, Early Birds and Night Owls, consists of both a Breakfast and an After School Club held within a safe and secure environment. We offer a wide range of planned, age-related activities based on the children’s interests.  We also ensure that our activities are designed to enhance the learning journey for our children through child centred, purposeful play and fun.

Our current Breakfast Club is fully operational, with sometimes more children than we can accommodate!  The success and continuation of the after-school care will depend on demand and uptake during the 2025/2026 academic year and is fully dependent on sufficient numbers in order for the after-school provision to continue operating into future years.

Wrap around care provision is term-time only.  However, we will be continuing to offer holiday clubs during the school holidays.  Please view the booklets below, which are designed to give you an insight into all aspects of our wrap around provision.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT REGISTRATION FOR BOTH EARLY BIRDS AND NIGHT OWLS WILL ONLY COMMENCE ONCE YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE BOOKING FORM.  ONLY THEN WILL YOU BE SET UP WITH AN MCAS ACCOUNT TO MAKE YOUR BOOKINGS.  IF WE DO NOT RECEIVE A BOOKING FORM, WE CANNOT ACCEPT YOUR CHILD ONTO EITHER CLUB DUE TO SAFEGUARDING AND HEALTH & SAFETY.  WE ARE NO LONGER PERMITTED TO TAKE CHILDREN INTO EITHER CLUB, THAT HAVE NOT BEEN REGISTERED IN ADVANCE.
