Year 6 are taught by Mrs G. Claxton and Mrs G. Day

Welcome to Class 6!

We are a vibrant class of 29 amazing pupils — kind, ambitious, and always ready to grow. As a team, we support each other and strive to be the best we can be.
You'll find us in our classroom (and often learning outdoors!), always ready to take on new challenges, act responsibly, and make the most of every learning opportunity.

Who helps us to learn?

"I am Mrs Claxton and I teach Year 6 at The Mosley Academy.  It is a privilege to work at such a wonderful school, alongside a dedicated and inspiring team, teaching truly remarkable children!  I love teaching Year 6 as it is a unique and memorable time in primary school. It's a year full of exciting opportunities, lasting memories, and important milestones, and of course preparing for the exciting transition to secondary school.
It truly is a special year, and we make every moment count!
"I am Mrs Day and I love my time in Year 6 as I get to work with the most enthusiastic group of children who are always curious about our learning! My favourite part of teaching is helping children to understand tricky ideas and seeing how proud they are when they've been the best that they can be! Year 6 also know that I love a sing song in class!"
